Hiking & UTV Trails

One of the best things about this property is the trails that allow you to explore nearly every corner. The 2.5 miles of groomed trails through rugged terrain makes for some excellent hiking or can be ridden on your ATV. There are trails that take you from the building lot to the blufftop, all along the ridge line and into all the nooks and crannies. On your ATV the trails make setting up hunting blinds and checking trail cameras a breeze. And on your feet, the time to take in the sights and sounds of the forest – do not forget the camera!

Highly recommended is packing up your ATV with snacks for a ride from the building lot up the bluffs to The Point. The Point is your own private sanctuary. Situated on the blufftop directly looking over Winona and the river valley is a groomed area set up for the best camping experience. You will feel like you have your own state park! The view alone is enough but add to that a campfire ring with cooking grate, stacks of firewood and the perfect trees for hammocking your weekends will always be booked.

Directly across from the building site is the Flyway Trail where you can hop on your bike or walk safely to Winona, MN or the Town of Buffalo Park. If you ride the trail across the backwaters and pack your bathing suit you can catch some rays at the Latsch Island Beach. The Flyway Trail will soon be connected from the park to the Great River State Trail system. From there you can ride for days!
